Independent SAP architecture

Our business isn't transformation. Our business is value.

Independent SAP assessment, advice and assurance for mid-market organisations. Evidence, not opinion, so your board can make high-stakes SAP decisions with confidence.

Who we are

Twenty-five years of SAP-centred change.

Large enterprises can commission independent SAP assurance from global advisory firms. Mid-market organisations usually rely on their system integrator, their vendor or their own team, none of whom are independent in the way that matters. Kell-Tech fills that gap.

We are not a systems integrator. We do not implement SAP and we do not resell software. Every engagement is led personally by a senior architect, from scoping to the final report, and our only interest is an accurate, well-evidenced and useful answer, whatever that answer turns out to be.

Our model

Three disciplines of architecture. One unified model.

SAP investment is at its most important inflection point in a generation. ECC support deadlines, RISE contracts and cloud costs are forcing decisions that will shape the next decade. Getting them right needs all three architecture disciplines in the room, working as one.

01

Enterprise

Aligning technology with business strategy, through good governance and a value-driven roadmap.

02

Application

Designing the SAP and business application landscape that delivers the outcome, not just the go-live.

03

Platform

RISE, BTP and cloud foundations built to run efficiently, securely and at the right cost.

What we do

Assess. Advise.
Assure.

Three services that follow the decisions every SAP organisation faces: where you are, where you should go, and making sure you get there with the value intact.

01 · Where you are

Assess

A tool-assisted, read-only analysis of your whole SAP landscape, producing a clear, risk-rated baseline you can act on. Fixed fee, typically three to seven weeks.

  • Custom code and S/4HANA compatibility
  • Configuration and business process controls
  • System and Basis health
  • Data quality and master data
  • Integration and interface architecture
  • Security, access and segregation of duties
02 · Where to go

Advise

Targeted senior expertise on the decisions that matter, through expert reviews, workshops, retained advice or rapid crisis support.

  • S/4HANA migration strategy
  • RISE with SAP evaluation
  • Clean core strategy
  • Security and controls
  • Go-live readiness
  • Vendor and SI selection
  • Crisis and recovery
03 · Getting there

Assure

A formal, independent written opinion with the rigour and evidence needed for a board, a regulator or a transaction.

  • Pre-go-live readiness opinion
  • SAP controls assurance
  • Post-incident independent review
  • M&A due diligence
  • Expert witness and dispute support

Each service stands on its own. Most clients start with Assess, then draw on Advise or Assure as their situation requires. Get in touch

Why it matters

Most SAP failures are assurance failures.

When a global food manufacturer went live across multiple sites without an independent readiness assessment, warehouse integrations failed on day one. The result was $135M in lost sales and a 19% fall in its share price. The problems were knowable in advance. Nobody independent was asked to look.

Most mid-market SAP landscapes have never been independently assessed. Years of customisation, undocumented interfaces and accumulated access create risks that stay hidden until a migration, an audit or a go-live exposes them.

  • Custom code and technical debtHundreds of Z-objects of unknown quality and S/4HANA compatibility.
  • Configuration and control gapsDrift from design intent that weakens financial controls.
  • Integration fragilityThe most common cause of go-live failure.
  • Security and accessExcessive access and unresolved segregation of duties conflicts.
  • Data qualityMaster data that breaks migrations and reporting.

Independence before everything. Evidence over opinion. We assume nothing.

We never implement what we assess, and we have no referral arrangements with integrators or vendors. Every finding is traceable to your own system, written in plain language for the people who have to act on it.
